About
Open in Hollywood, Fingers Crossed is Chef Evan Funke’s love letter to the Roman pizzeria. Renowned for his tributes to traditional Italian cooking, Fingers Crossed is simply "straight up Roman." As a six-month residency and joint venture between Funke and Relevant Hospitality, this al fresco dining experience can be found in a quaint flower-filled piazza on the corner of Cahuenga and Selma Ave.
Fingers Crossed highlights Funke’s longstanding relationships with local farms and farmers such as Kong Thao, JJ’s Lone Daughter Ranch, and Valdivia Farms. A thoughtfully curated wine program pays homage to Italy’s best, complementing classically executed Italian cocktails. In true Italian fashion, Fingers Crossed offers a selection of caffé, espresso, Italian soda, and birre.
The aesthetic is romantic and inviting as if walking down the hidden streets of Rome. The patio is decorated with rustic patina iron work gates that open into a courtyard accentuated with lush greenery, ivy-wrapped walls, and adorned with strands of outdoor lighting that illuminate the night sky.
The Fingers Crossed dining room accommodates 70 guests. The most up to date COVID-19 protocols are in place including physically distanced tables, rigorous sanitization protocols, an enforced mask policy, single-use menus, and cashless transactions.
